- Milady Standard Textbook of Cosmetology of Salon Fundaments. ( If you are a non-cosmetology student meaning you are not enrolled in any cosmetology program then a textbook is not necessary). If you are a cosmetology student and you are in a physical school learning cosmetology the textbook assigned to you is sufficient for this course as this course can be used for a supplement to what you are currently learning.
